- PhD candidate
- Vrije Universiteit
I am a PhD candidate working in the lab of Prof. Dr. Serge Dumoulin at the Spinoza Centre of Neuroimaging and the Vrije Universiteit (VU) Amsterdam. Within my research, I aim to develop predictive models of human neuronal populations in visual cortex, by using an advanced technique known as population receptive field mapping (pRF). In addition, my focus lies on developing novel research paradigms, combined with statistical analyses. My research interests contain optical illusions, perceptual learning, the benefits of playing action video games, and body ownership within Virtual Reality. During my work and academic education, I have obtained a background in Experimental Psychology, Computer Science, Education, and Serious Game Research.
