Neuroimaging and neuromodeling
The Neuroimaging & Neuromodeling group aims to unravel neuronal codes underlying perception in human cortical systems at the columnar and laminar level by incrementally integrating high-resolution fMRI and neural network modeling (in a common brain space framework). In this way, neuroimaging findings are used to biologically validate our computational models, whereas the computational models aid the interpretation of our experimental observations – resulting in a comprehensive brain model. Our current focus is on investigating visual perception and multi-sensory processing using ultra-high field fMRI. Furthermore, we develop advanced analyses methods for fMRI data .
