In my present work, I study patients with visual deficits (hemianopia, glaucoma). The deficits in these patients make it possible to investigate the influence of a systematic lack of visual input on structural changes in the visual cortex by using ultra-high field (7 Tesla) MRI. My scientific interests contain visual perception, neuroimaging and clinical neuropsychology.

I am working as a PhD candidate in the lab of prof. dr. Serge Dumoulin at the Spinoza Centre for Neuroimaging.
