Molecular imaging in neuropsychiatric disorders
Our research is focused on neuroreceptor imaging with SPECT and PET, with special interests in Parkinson’s disease, dementia with Lewy bodies, schizophrenia, addiction, major depression, and neurotoxicity of XTC. In addiction, preclinial research is focussed on the development of new SPECT and PET tracers, and SPECT imaging in small laboratory animals.
