Dr. Eickhoff
19 November 2025On November 18th, Kathi Eickhoff successfully defended her PhD, entitled ‘Fast and curious: unveiling millisecond dynamics of population receptive fields’
In her thesis, Kathi showed how population receptive field models capture the event-related magnetoencephalography response with millisecond resolution. She studied the temporal dynamics of foveal and parafoveal population receptive field processing and compared fast dynamics of linear and non-linear models of visual processing.
